Description and Responsibilities
Open Sky is seeking a strong leader with the ability to lead complex, cross departmental projects to fill the role of Vice President of Facilities. The Vice President of Facilities will oversee facilities operations, real estate portfolio management, and property services across the organization. Under the direction of the Chief Operating and Financial Officer, this role manages outsourced services and staff, supervises real estate operations, leads strategic initiatives for space planning, lease negotiations, and property management.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Manage owned and leased properties, including acquisition, leasing, and disposal of assets. Oversee lease negotiations, renewals, and compliance.
Collaborate with the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to determine financial feasibility of long range and large scale facilities projects.
Lead inspection, licensing, and feasibility assessments across real estate portfolio.
Monitor and coordinate capital projects, renovations, and maintenance activities.
Supervise RASP housing operations, focusing on lease approvals, compliance, and housing authority coordination.
Collaborate with the Finance client support and Accounts payable teams to align housing operations with funding arrangements and program needs.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business, Facilities Management, or a related field, highly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in facilities, real estate, or housing services, required.
Demonstrated knowledge of property management, lease negotiations, and capital planning, required.
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and project management tools, required.
Experience working with government agencies such as HUD, CEDAC, or DHCD is highly desirable.
