Operations Analysis and Simulation Ops Analyst The Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate (SADID) is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). Supporting this mission are teams providing domain expertise and creative solutions in surveillance, naval and missile defense based radar system design, sonar and undersea sensor system design, integrated air and missile defense systems engineering, command and control/battle management system design, combat system and platform architecture design and integration, operational analysis and simulation modeling research and development, software intensive system engineering, cyber solutions and algorithm development for signal processing, tracking and discrimination systems. The Operations Analysis and Simulation Department within SADID has a charter to conduct analyses and support programs across the IDS portfolio, including surface Navy, undersea Navy, missile defense sensors, interceptors, command and control, integrated air and missile defense systems and space surveillance systems. The work is classified and the candidate must have at least a DoD SECRET clearance. Responsibilities: The Analyst will take part on teams responsible for delivering measurable mission effectiveness performance and cost benefit results for a range of complex and advanced technology warfighting architectures specifically (although not exclusively) focused on Raytheon systems. The Analyst work with business development staff to create and model advanced technology options to support new captures and other product line growth opportunities spanning the product lifecycle: design, development, production, sustainment/support, and obsolescence. The Analyst must effectively communicate and present convincing results to the team/customer. This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills: 4+ years of technical work related experience Experience participating and supporting analyses and studies to include understanding how to define and execute a study. Experience evaluating new concepts of operation and developing new technology use cases. Strong technical and analytical skills to develop credible results for presenting to customer. Knowledge of principals such as CONOPs, system tradeoff analysis, threat definitions and system of system assessments. BS/BA in Engineering, Science or Mathematics. Active DoD Secret security clearance. Desired Skills: Strong System Knowledge in warfighting Domains, including at least one of the following: Air Defense, Ballistic Missile Defense, Ship Self-Defense, Air/Land/Sea/Joint C4I, Operations in a Cyber Contested Environment, Network Centric Operations, Air Traffic Management, Critical Infrastructure Protection Current Extended Background Check with polygraph MS or PhD in Engineering, Science or Mathematics What’s YOUR Mission?
