The Scientist will work as part of a team in a lab environment to complete client driven projects.
Primary responsibilities include:
May lead Development and Validation of new assays including GxP studies.
Serves as a PI or study lead on RUO and GxP studies
Author or participate in writing of SOPs, Validation Protocols and Reports
May have Research Associates or Senior Research Associates as the direct reports
Providing technical assistance to assigned research staff, train other employees. Perform a QC function to review data and reports to ensuring the accuracy of all laboratory-related processes.
May perform a sample analysis following established SOPs under RUO/GLP/cGMP conditions.
Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc.
Maintaining regular communication with scientists, study director and other project staff as well as external clients.
Adhering to all laboratory standards as defined in each written SOP.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
BS in a scientific field with 7+ years or advanced degree (MS/PhD) with at least 3 year of relevant experience.
Experience with ELISA, enzymatic assays, western blots, and cell based assay techniques is critical.
Strong experience with GLP and cGMP as well as assay development and validation is required.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team to complete projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work without the supervision in a team environment. Will participate in client meetings.
Excellent computer skills are required and you must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (formulas, graphs and charts) and PowerPoint.
