American Tower Project Manager, Land Management in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Project Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Land Management Organization. The Land Management team helps facilitate new leasing and amendment revenue opportunities by securing collocation-related landlord consents for, and/or compound expansions at, American Tower’s core wireless tower assets. The team engages with landlords to negotiate consents, compound expansions, customers’ access, and utility easements. As our customers' land infrastructure requirements evolve, the team finds ways to bring those vital services to our towers. Working cross-functionally, the team plays a critical role in supporting new revenue opportunities by meeting our customers’ and landlords’ needs. Day to day you will manage projects for consents and ground lease expansions with landlords .  As a Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to communicate projects’ statuses to key stakeholders and ensure their successful and timely completions.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Leadthe negotiation of consents and compound expansions while building and maintainingstrong relationships with landlords.

  • Conductfinancial analyses, associated pricings, and project-related negotiations toensure timely and appropriate project completions.

  • Evaluateand execute, on a case-by-case basis, the appropriate strategic approaches forprojects.

  • Identifyand schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

  • Properlytrack information for projects; report and communicate status and forecastedtimelines.

  • Administerresource management scheduling system; provide visibility of utilization andavailability to management.

  • Preparequalitative and quantitative analyses of site-specific issues, recommend actions,and facilitate resolutions.

  • Collaboratedirectly and consistently with cross-functional team members to determineappropriate actions and ensure stakeholder alignment.

  • Usedata compiled by others to identify and contribute to the implementation ofsystem enhancements for optimizing project management workflows and data.

  • Otherduties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree orequivalent work experience required .

  • Minimum of 2 years of telecommunications, finance, or real estate industryexperience preferred.

  • Experience in a project-oriented environment, with site acquisitionexperience strongly preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite andparticularly Excel, required.

  • Able to effectively work with cross-functional teams required.

  • Sales Force CRM experience strongly preferred.

  • Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’sresponsibilities.

  • Strongwritten and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideasand suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Abilityto work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieveresults effectively and professionally.

  • Strongorganizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreedupon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in afast-paced environment .
