The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. The Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program is in need of a Deputy Operations and Sustainment Cross Product Team (O&S CPT) Lead to support AN/TPY-2 Forward Based and THAAD Radars. The Deputy CPT Lead assists with the coordination of activities at the various Army Navy / Transportable Radar Surveillance Model - 2 (AN/TPY-2) Radar Operations Sites. The Deputy oversees and provides direction to Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS) and Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) for site operations. This position can be a Manager I Engineering G09 or a Manager II Engineering G10 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide administration support to all AN/TPY-2 Site Managers for system operation, test and maintenance Manage site staffing and backfill requirements Develop reporting schedules with funding status, including master project schedule and earned value system Coordination & solutions to field problems Coordinate funding and task activities between CPT performing organizations and various sites Ensure site operations budget activities are accurately measured and followed Required Skills: 6+ years of Military product development or sustainment support experience for a complex hardware system in remote sites/OCONUS locations. Experience presenting to government customers such as the Missile Defense Agency DoD and DCMA Desired Skills: An Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain Experience and familiar with O&S proposals Experience working across diverse engineering and HR functions to staff sites and resolve issues Experience in an CPT environment managing budgets and supporting input to the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to include Budget Change Requests (BCRs) Experience as a technical lead for a Contract Start-Up from contract award to sign off (IPDS Gate 5) Experience with Risk and Opportunity Process Experience as a technical lead for a contract, Experience in subcontractor management including Statement of Works and Inter- organizational Transfers Experience with conducting Government audits Experience with Military Training and use of Technical Manuals Required Education: BS/BA in engineering, logistics, business. 8+ years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
