Lean and Continuous Improvement Leader
Summary: The Lean and Continuous Improvement Leader is a hands-on, results driven role that is responsible for building and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in a Semiconductor Fab Operations Environment. The Lean and Continuous Improvement Leader will assist in prioritizing and driving performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to Skyworks customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of continuous improvement / Lean to achieve performance excellence.

Assist in managing, Improving and sustaining the Continuous Improvement and 5S program
Track and report on daily, weekly and monthly metrics for all 5S activities
Responsible for audits across all shifts and for the collecting, reporting and identifying of all gaps to the Skyworks 5S standards
Based on 5S gaps within the organization, recommends and coordinates with Continuous Improvement / Lean team members to effectively drive solutions to completion
As needed, work with outside suppliers, contractors, resources, to manage internal requirements for closure of 5S and CI action items
As needed, work across all Skyworks organizations and help support 5S and CI / Lean implementation activities
Identify opportunities within the Value stream to help drive improvements that tie into corporate Key Performance indicators
Help drive and build a Continuous Improvement and Lean culture across the organization
Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement / Lean activities, VSM design, improvement projects, KAIZEN, to drive improvement to all levels of the organization.
Challenges the status quo to find ways to optimize manufacturing performance to deliver superior results
Work across all levels of the organization to drive elimination of waste, not only within the manufacturing process, but all supporting processes

Required Education and Experience
Proficient in operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
2 - 5 years of working knowledge and practical experience in manufacturing environment, Semiconductor if possible.
Working knowledge of and ability to apply lean and six-sigma principals and other similar problem-solving tools (DMAIC, 5Y, Process Mapping, VSM)
Computer literacy: Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Power Point.
Good organizational skills (attention to detail and accuracy)
Knowledge of 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies
