Job Summary:

The Sensors & Systems Product Area team is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead for Strategic Growth Programs and Over-The-Horizon-Radar programs.

In this fast-paced business environment, the selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.

The candidate will report to the program portfolio Business Manager and will work closely with a multi-functional team of professionals to ensure flawless execution of all FP&A tasks and responsibilities.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and onsite) and is based on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Coordinate, develop, and administer Long Range and Annual Operating Plans

  • Develop, analyze, and present monthly financial forecasts to Finance leadership

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure financial plan and forecast alignment and accuracy

  • Track, assess, and report financial risks and opportunities against financial forecasts

  • Drive focus and closure on cash billings and cash receipt collections

  • Analyze, understand, and determine impact of rate updates

  • Enforce contract adherence to revenue recognition policies

  • Collect and report program staffing demand data

  • Support contract funding analysis, resolution of funding issues, and contract closeout initiatives

  • Process new contract awards and existing contract modifications in financial system

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

  • Typically requires 5 years’ experience in Finance or related business role; OR an advanced degree and 3 years of experience in Finance or related roles

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
