This position supports selected Platforms in analysis and reporting of their operational and financial performance, including driving towards their forecast goals.
Participate in the month end close process, preparing journal entries related to inventory, sales, cost of sales and operating adjustments, reconciliations and month end financial statements.
Involved in the development and support of standard cost and inventory valuation at all Division locations, with emphasis on overhead rate development and variance analysis to standard cost.
Active participant in the development, implementation and support of Lean in Manufacturing and Finance.
Ensure compliance and integrity with company Internal Control policies and S-OX documentation.
Provide support to Finance leadership for reports and analysis in support of Division, Group and Corporate reviews, audits, and ad hoc requirements.
Work with facilities and operations on asset tracking, capitalization, and documentation.
B.A./B.S. Accounting/Finance required.
0-2+ years’ experience required
Travel required 10%
Experience with manufacturing systems; standard cost and lean
Knowledge of FAR / DFAR and Cost Accounting Standards a plus
Knowledge of computers-PC Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel
Strong analytical skills
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
