Aerotek Field Engineer in Woburn, Massachusetts
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare installation settings/coding modifications as necessary to fit customer requirements of robotic material handling solutions for the logistics and industrial sectors
Preparation and approval of test plans: Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Testing in facilities for Factory Acceptance Tests
Installation of the solution at the Customer site
Final customer acceptance testing (SAT)
Customer user training
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
Responsible for existing software in addition to new developments
Perform debugging, testing, code improvement
Develop and implement custom programs and applications
Prepare and demonstrate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with the customer
Install robots at the Customer Site
Prepare and demonstrate Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with the customer
Train users and supporting production during a ramp up phase
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar discipline required
Fundamental understanding of software coding as well as testing practices (C, C++, Python, JavaScript…)
This is NOT a full-time coding role, this role requires custom code development
