We are seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join our Rexel team in Woburn, MA!
Drive electrical distribution sales for our counter business.
Develop account plans/penetration strategy.
Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new or existing customers.
Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required
High School Diploma or GED
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels, within internal and external groups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good team player.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to type on a computer keyboard.
Skills, Knowledge, and Education Preferred
Electrical product knowledge; including lighting, switchgear, controls and electrical commodities.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments.
Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows based software.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer and branch needs.
Ability to verify and calculate figures such as cost, commissions, credit, rebate, and profit, understand and interpret financial data and reports and balance sheets.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to analyze customer, branch and employee problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.
