Job Title: Shift Service Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shift Service Assembler. The successful candidate will be able to assemble, build, modify, perform point to point wiring, troubleshoot, and functionally test a variety of electrical/mechanical and refrigeration assemblies with minimal supervision. The role also includes the refurbishment and rework of electrical mechanical units and refrigeration assemblies, requiring detailed electrical mechanical knowledge and skill. You will be expected to work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, written and verbal instructions, and maintain a clean work area while observing all safety rules.

Hard Skills

• Ability to read and write

• Ability to use calipers/micrometers

• Ability to use and read blueprints

• Wiring

• Electrostatic discharge wiring and assembly

• Soldering

• Refrigeration charging

• Brazing

• Deburring

• Tube bending

• Pressure leak testing

• Refrigeration leak testing

• Heat load testing

• Thermal capacity testing

• Hy-pot testing

• Maintenance and lubrication

• Mechanical, assembly, HVAC, brazing, point to point wiring

Soft Skills

• Very good mechanical skills

• Ability to read drawings

• Ability to use a drill press and hand tools and micrometers

• Good communication skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

You will be working in a very clean lean manufacturing facility, as part of a small team. The shift runs from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Dress is casual. This is a temp to perm opportunity at a very stable and high-tech company.
