Yorktel is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for keeping the product flowing between the fabrication floor and warehouse based on site need by dates. This position’s focus will be the timely receiving and prompt movement of material to the correct put away location. This position will also be involved in all other warehouse activities. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will provide direction and support for day-to-day instruction. Roles & Responsibilities:Work cross functionally between departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.Work with internal departments regarding concerns and ensure resolution of any problems. Requires regular planning and teamwork to assist with the coordination of product moves. Regularly communicate answers to questions and respond to inquiries both email and voice. Handles and is expected to protect all internal and external confidential information and must utilize discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.Perform receiving and material put away on a daily basis.Assist in picking, packing and shipment of project material shipments.Performs inventory cycle counts.Creates shipping documents.Perform inventory transactions using ERP system.Other duties as assigned.Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities:This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. This position will not have authority or decision-making capabilities.Skills & Abilities:Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, UPS world ship system, international shipping procedures is a plus, and packaging, crating, and shipping of electronic equipment worldwide.High levels of professionalism and integrityHigh ability to work with peers.Good customer service skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Problem solving skills.Education & Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma.Should have experience and in-depth knowledge of inventory management, great organizational skills, and warehouse experience.
