Saint-Gobain Research Assistant - GCP in Wilmington, Massachusetts

The Research Assistant safely performs specialized R&D assignments, involving sample preparation, testing, analyzing, improving, installing, operating, and/or solving problems concerning our processes, equipment, and products.

Responsibilities:

Prepares/processes materials samples including:

  • Active involvement in standard and exploratory experiment design

  • Routine laboratory activity to make or prep materials and test samples

  • Development work with non-routine R&D assignments such as design of fixtures for experimental set-up and establishing proper data acquisition

Collects and reports scientific & engineering data obtained from laboratory equipment through an effective plan/coordination and maintains laboratory notebook

Maintain laboratories and equipment including set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of experimental equipment or instruments
