This is a hybrid role with 50% on-site requirement in Wilmington, MA.

We are embarking on a comprehensive and strategic portfolio transformation, and are looking for a highly organized and collaborative Merchandiser to assist in all areas of garment product portfolio analysis through business planning, data collection, line plan management and merchandising. This role will partner with internal teams cross-functionally to identify and service product portfolio, marketing, and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a deep, working-level knowledge of our wearers, brand, and products.

  • Support the process of ongoing business and portfolio performance assessments to ensure each SKU is profitable, has a “reason for being”, and is accurately positioned relative to other products and competition in the marketplace.

  • Support the development of basic product marketing strategies (i.e. product positioning, sub branding, required features, pricing, etc.) working with management, sales, sourcing, and creative teams.

  • Leverage multiple sources of data to report accurately and regularly on and against company and garment category performance, driving towards actionable insights.

  • Utilize your data insights and market observations to help identify new opportunity areas for the business, driving thoughtful discussions to test, learn, and grow.

  • Assist the cross functional team to develop and complete go-to-market tools, including sell in materials, packaging and ecommerce support materials, and a comprehensive outstanding consumer experience support plan.

  • Support in the development and execution of annual business needs, including marketing campaigns, new product launches, merchandising, and distribution opportunities.

  • Be a key contributor to the management and growth objectives of the business.

  • Maintain appropriate systems according to the needs of the business.

  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • 2-3 years’ work experience, consumer goods company required, garment industry preferred

  • Ability to think strategically while also executing details

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

  • Effective communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
