Textron Systems is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to join our team. This individual should have experience in operational, component design and subsystem interdependency aspects of hypersonic vehicle guidance, navigation, and control. Familiarity with the inertial/stellar guidance instruments and flight computer interaction is desired. Knowledge of state-of-the-art trends to improve accuracy is a plus.

Detailed knowledge of the following areas is attractive:

• Autopilot

• Navigation

• Guidance and GPS updates

• Subsystem alignment

• Data interfaces

• Real time software

• Hardware in the Loop Testing

• System accuracy assessment

• Proficient communication and presentation skills

• Effective detailed report and proposal preparation

Qualifications

Education

• Will consider education levels including B.S. EE, M.S. EE, or PhD and relative experiences
