About This Role

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new digital system designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be experienced in integrating mixed signal electronics design, architecture planning, backplanes, system level design and high density PWAs. The individual should be skilled in using Allegro (ORCAD) Capture and PSPICE. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.


  • 15 years of experience in Mixed Signal electronics design

  • Experienced Digital designer

  • Architecture planning and system level design

  • Comfortable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE

  • Familiarity with single point ground concept

  • Familiar with circuit noise suppression techniques

  • Experience with high speed digital design techniques

  • Experienced in the design of serial communications with differential drivers and receivers

  • Familiar with full range of lab instrumentation and testing

  • Requisition components and support PWA assembly

  • Experience designing with discrete transistor circuits

  • Support prototype builds

  • An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required.

Education Requirements: BS degree in electrical engineering, MS a plus
