Job Description:

We have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our talented engineering organization. Our engineers possess understanding of aerospace electrical engineering, motion control technology and ground support test equipment for space borne Electro Optical instruments, precision mechanisms, electronic sub-assemblies, and PCB level electronics.

Essential Functions:

  • The scope of the position includes the development of aerospace electronics design, analysis, integration and test for sensor systems, precision scanning mirror systems, Electro Optic mechanisms, gimbal pointing systems, ground support test racks and cable assemblies.

  • Participate in multi-disciplined teams and be responsible for design & analysis of electronic PCBs and sub-systems, documenting design approaches, establishing design verification & validation by testing and data reduction, and developing test and manufacturing plans.

  • Additional responsibilities include Internal Research and Development support and tiger team involvement to generate novel concepts and resolve issues.


  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Computer Engineering

  • Two years of experience in developing electronic systems for military or aerospace electronics for sensors, mechanisms, aerospace cable development and ground-based test equipment.

  • Experience in ground-based test systems, test racks, test equipment & cables.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge in sub-assembly hardware design & development, analysis, integration, reliability, and risk mitigation for space-based environments.

  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience related to mentoring associate engineers

  • Active Secret (or higher) security clearance.

  • Experience with high reliability space flight programs and components is a plus.

  • Analog and digital design, EMC/EMI knowledge and signal integrity knowledge is a plus.
