Weston & Sampson Backflow Technician in Wilmington, Massachusetts
Weston & Sampson is seeking a dependable Backflow Technician in Eastern or South Shore, MA with 1-3 years of experience with Massachusetts backflow testing.
What you’ll do:
We test backflow preventers on a variety of systems
We work closely with community water systems as well as private clients to ensure their drinking water is safe
Duties include the performance of backflow device testing
Interaction with water customers on a daily basis
Position is full time, Monday-Friday at a variable schedule depending on client needs
Usage of company vehicle for travel
What you will bring:
A high school diploma or equivalent
New England Waterworks and Massachusetts Backflow Tester License required
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to liift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to climb a ladder
Valid driver’s license
Dependent on years of experience and licensing.
Pay increases may be offered with newly acquired licenses (Wastewater, Water, or other job-related license) as approved by the supervisor during the interview process.
Sign-on bonuses are available.
Full-time position may require various shifts and/or flexible hours. You will be expected to participate in the on-call rotation, occasional overtime, holidays, weekends and nights.
