Job Summary:

As an assembler you will play a crucial role in supporting our Operations department by accurately masking and deburring customer components. You will follow engineering operations sheets and verbal instructions from Group Leaders and Supervisors to ensure the completion of tasks. This position primarily focuses on basic components, limiting the complexity of the parts and departments involved. You may work under the guidance of a level II Prep/Finisher, gaining valuable experience and expertise.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-time TTH

  • Pay Rate: $20-21/hour

  • Shift: 1st shift

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Verify completion and sign off for all previous operations.

  • Determine the correct part cleaning method, if required, and clean parts accordingly.

  • Identify and scribe masking area on components and mask and trim parts.

  • Deburr components by removing tape, overspray, and sharp edges.

  • Measure components to verify correct coating application.

  • Comply with training requirements for hazardous waste management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Responsible for following all safety processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of one year of previous manufacturing/assembly experience.

  • Basic understanding of measuring techniques and dimensional tolerances.

  • Proficient in utilizing measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

  • Ability to read and understand operation sheets and follow verbal instructions.

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
