LOCATION : Westwood, MA

STARTING RATE OF PAY : $40.99

CURRENTLY POSTED HOURS : 7:30AM – 4:00PM

SCHEDULE : M-F

**Union Represented Position**

The Telecommunications Coordinator is responsible for the daily administration of telephone operations, PBX switches, voice mail systems and the customization of telephone stations. Provides expertise in the areas of telecommunications customer support, enhancements, problem-solving, troubleshooting, system administration andtraining.This position delivers unparalleled customer service system-wide for all telecommunication needs. Serves as the company’s primary contact for ordering telephone, fax, cellular telephone equipment and telecommunicationscircuits.Reviews and approves the timely payment of all telecommunications invoices and the charging back of these various costs to the appropriatedepartments.Resolves any discrepancies in billing invoices with telecommunications vendors. Responsible for training in the use of telephones, faxes, cellular telephones and voice mail. Responsible for the first line troubleshooting of related problems. Coordinates more in depth troubleshooting with other Eversource personnel and external telecommunications vendors. In this fast-paced environment, the Coordinator must manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlinessimultaneously.This position demands excellent telephone manners, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, as well as, strong verbal and writing skills. The Coordinator must be able to work independently and is very detailed oriented.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must have a working knowledge of PC applications, including MS Word, Excel and Access.

2. Must have 2 years’ experience in telephone administration including telephone switches and voice mail systems.

3. Must successfully complete specialized technical training provided by the company.
