Eversource Energy 2025 Summer Standards Engineering Intern in Westwood, Massachusetts

JOIN OUR SUMMER INTERN 2025 TEAM: We have multiple exciting Summer Internship roles with the Standards Engineering Team. Interns will assist engineers and supervisors with the evaluation of Distribution Equipment and Materials to be used on the Electrical Distribution System.

We have openings in Berlin, Connecticut and Westwood, MA.

JOIN OUR SUMMER INTERN 2025 TEAM: We have multiple exciting Summer Internship roles with the Standards Engineering Team. Interns will assist engineers and supervisors with the evaluation of Distribution Equipment and Materials to be used on the Electrical Distribution System. Student will learn Construction Standards to support field personnel with installing the Distribution Equipment and Work Method Standards to support field personnel with operating the Distribution Equipment.

Students will learn basic electric utility design and operations, and at the same time will help alleviate some clerical and data intensive tasks. Student will work with staff engineers to create Design and Materiel Specifications for equipment and review Equipment Performance by Reliability and Failure Analysis tracking. Student will assist with field and system engineeringsupport.

Position Requirements:

Student needs to be working toward an Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical), and requires some technical and analytical background and experience. Software experience includes Microsoft Office Suite . Student must have transportation to the office locations.
