RedHat Senior Portfolio Product Marketing Manager in Westford, Massachusetts

Job summary

The Red Hat Portfolio Product Marketing team is looking for an experienced product marketing manager to join us as a Senior Portfolio Product Marketing Manager in any region where Red Hat has a business presence. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing end-to-end strategies to increase adoption and usage of Red Hat’s multi-product technical solutions. You will play a crucial role in the success of Red Hat by serving as a technology expert on Red Hat’s multi-product solutions to increase awareness and knowledge about the solutions in the market. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with multiple high-performance teams and engage with our global sales, engineering, and product and technical marketing teams on a daily basis.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Work closely with a team of portfolio marketers and Red Hat Portfolio Architects to build compelling presentations and collateral

  • Craft and enhance rich multi-product stories that resonate with customers and partners by addressing customer use cases and challenges

  • Contribute to the messaging and delivery of Red Hat Portfolio Marketing collateral and products to sales teams and internal business units

  • Inform and consult across teams on data analysis of existing customer technology deployments, customer use cases, and business intelligence

  • Assist with the delivery of remote and face-to-face portfolio-centric training to sales teams, marketers, consultants, and partners worldwide

  • Present the value proposition of Red Hat solutions in go-to-market engagements, roadshows, events, summits, technical sales briefings, customer meetings, and webinars

  • Participate in creating and developing marketing programs and themes

  • Support sales, enablement, and marketing efforts as required

  • Assist competitive product teams with market and competitive analyses

Required skills

  • Proven record of success in a fast-moving, highly technical environment

  • Ability to understand and adopt new technologies and tools quickly

  • Knowledge of technology industry trends and customer business software implementations

  • Understanding of open source software development processes, methodologies, and communities

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications

  • Charismatic presenter, comfortable working with and presenting to all levels of an organization

  • Understanding of Red Hat’s portfolio of offerings; Red Hat Certification is a plus

  • 5+ years of enterprise software experience

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience

  • Ability to work in a technical environment to deliver demonstrations and webinars

  • Exceptional skills in collaborating and leading disparate groups to consensus

  • Metrics-focused and detail-oriented

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business information systems, or computer science is a plus
