The Information and Intelligence Engineering group is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to work on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Imaging systems. In this position, the candidate will work on a multi-disciplinary teams to develop software for airborne telescopic imaging systems. This work would include image and meta-data processing. There are also opportunities for technical leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow technically while proudly contributing to unique state of the art solutions that truly make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and integrate software for ISR sensors

• Develop concise requirements

• Implement software in a secure, sustainable manner

• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to devise robust solutions

• Code higher order mathematics and data structures

• Create robust, concise documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

• Typically requires a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

• US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. Active or recent clearances preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux development, containerization, and networking fundamentals

• Experience with Image Processing

• Experience with Matlab

• Experience with GPUs

• Experience with Earth remote sensing from satellite or airborne platforms

• Experience with DOD programs
