Butler America Components Engineer in Westford, Massachusetts

Components Engineer Location: Westford, MA Job ID: #70261 Pay Range: $45-54 Duration: 12 months Secret Clearance required to start Summary Involved in the design, development, and support of Digital and RF/Microwave Products. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the electrical components in the modules meet the highest reliability requirements as well as the product life cycle requirements. Basic Qualifications: • Degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Component Engineering or obsolescence management or related field. • Experience with PTC windchill for BOM (Bill of Material) development and management. • Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process. • Experience with creation of Part control Drawings (SCD, VID). • Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for use in military, and aerospace flight applications. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Secret clearance required to start Desired Skills: • Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes. • Function as an experienced component technologist, responsible for the life cycle of electronic components. • Ability to multi-task, handle shifting priorities and timeline pressure to meet project deadlines.
