Tighe & Bond Consulting Engineers Project Manager - Traffic in Westfield, Massachusetts

The Project Manager - Traffic will join our Transportation Team in our Westfield, Worcester, or Westwood, MA office. The Project Manager will collaborate with professionals across our regional offices and serve as an integral part of the project teams delivering engineering solutions to our clients throughout the Northeast (remote work is available throughout the summer and a hybrid approach after Labor Day). Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in the delivery and project management of traffic and transportation projects BS degree in Civil Engineering (MS Preferred) Professional registration as a Massachusetts Professional Engineer required; licensure in other New England states considered a differentiator Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) required; Registered Safety Professional (RSP) is advantageous Working fluency with Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM and Sidra in the analysis of complex transportation systems Experience with transportation engineering design software including AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation a plus Experience both executing and overseeing the development construction bid documents for traffic engineering design projects, including traffic signals for MassDOT and municipalities in Massachusetts Roadway design experience is preferred Must have a working fluency with Microsoft Office Suite Must thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skill Experience in leading and mentoring junior level staff for both project delivery and professional development Responsibilities: Overseeing projects including transportation planning studies, traffic impact analysis, parking studies, maintenance and protection of traffic, intersection improvements, and traffic control signal design. Role may also require limited construction observations/ inspection of various traffic, parking and roadway improvement projects for public and private sector clients in New England with a focus in Massachusetts Conducting business development activities including preparing proposals, meeting and developing clients, engagement in professional organizations, and preparing and delivering presentations Managing the technical design and preparation of construction documents for transportation, traffic and land use projects for various State, municipal, and private clients Transportation planning, safety engineering, corridor and parking studies Preparation of contract documents, bid documents, technical specifications, quantity and cost estimates Preparation of reports and correspondence Presentations to regulatory, technical, and public audiences, including attending community meetings to support projects Provide project management services, ensuring quality deliverables are completed within schedule and budget Manage junior professional staff; Supervise work prepared by junior professional staff; mentor junior level For more information and to apply, refer to this link:
