Tighe & Bond Consulting Engineers Project Manager - Building Services in Westfield, Massachusetts

The Project Manager ? Building Services will join our Westfield OR Westwood office to lead, manage,and work on a variety of multidisciplinary municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial projects around the region. Qualifications BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Professional Engineering License Minimum of 7 years of consulting engineering experience (10+ years preferred) with increasing responsibility in the evaluation, planning, design, construction, and project management of municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial projects including major renovations and new construction Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience Practical experience with MS Office applications Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills required Enthusiasm to learn and self-motivated in improving team and personal performance Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment with the flexibility to work with different project teams locally and across several offices and business lines Strong leadership ability and aptitude and a desire to manage and mentor junior staff Responsibilities Support client development activities, including the development of proposals, approach, scope, and budget Manage and lead diverse project teams through evaluation, planning, design and construction of a wide array of building services projects Maintain lead responsibility for the creation of construction documents, specifications, and handling construction oversight and administration Serve as primary point of contact between client (Owner, Architect, Design-Build firm, etc.) and the rest of the Tighe & Bond design team Participate in the development of drawings, specifications, opinions of probable costs, reports, and prepare final bid packages Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams and client communication Manage budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment Provide technical assistance and support for projects Support and mentor junior engineers and design/drafting technical staff on project assignments Ensure quality and safety compliance on all Tighe & Bond projects Our best-in-class compensation and benefits package includes competitive salaries, profit sharing, an employee wellness program, a generous health care plan, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, ESOP, 401(k) plan, PTO, internal training and professional development, student loan repayment, and a tuition reimbursement program.
