The new colleague is responsible for defining and driving the all Pall IoT strategy and early product MVP process.

Essential Job Functions:
Sets strategic direction (60%) * Performs deep Market and Competitive analysis to identify and assess evolving commercial and industry trends with the objective to define opportunities that should be pursued * Identifies unmet customer needs and desired outcomes through extensive customer and market research and cross-company stakeholder interactions; leads team to build new business cases around opportunities, puts the cases in context of the Roadmap, and presents implications to business unit and executive leadership * Creates and leads the 3-5 Year Strat-Aligned, Risk Balanced Product Roadmap / NPD Investment Portfolio (collection of projects) for a Program-Level Initiative and aligns with Senior Leadership Team Cross-company stakeholder engagement & project stewardship (40%) * Provides regular Executive-Level stakeholder reviews of projects and programs to ensure on-going alignment with tradeoff decisions needed within the project or program. Capable of communicating strategy and presenting to the highest levels of DHR Leadership * Leads product development to a successful handoff of all projects to the Commercial Teams and owns Product Definition, as well as, vetting and articulation of the value proposition throughout the project. * Works closely with the Central Technology Team and BU R&D to define new product innovations, technology success criteria, roadmaps, and business opportunities * Drives business partnership relationships with external providers of product innovations; leads or assists in negotiations for contracts and licensing agreements for innovative products and technologies with 3rd Party/Open Innovation partners in order to assure high-margin business models

Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering * 3 years or more of experience in digital technology * 1 years of experience in product development Preferred Qualifications: * Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science * 3 years of experience in industrial digital transformationstechnology preferred * 1 years of experience in software product development * 1 or more years of experience in hardware product development
