New Product Development

  • Provides technical guidance and expertise to multiple new product development projects specifically in TFF filtration, as both a lead technical contributor or a consultant, with responsibility from concept generation to fully commercialized products.

  • Strong background with MFG equipment & processes, to include injection molding, thermal bonding (hot plate) and other types of welding.

  • Leads technical direction for internal and external filter design/product development activities

  • Contributes to realistic project plans, stage gate work, and design reviews. Anticipates and mitigates project road blocks, delays and risks; resolves without issue.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment by aligning with all company safety policies and procedures. Finishes the required training assignments (Ethics, Intellectual Property, etc.)

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

  • Is or quickly becomes the team’s recognized technical specialist in the areas of filter new product development: technical problem solving, TFF product development

  • Collaborates with Pall associates or third party vendors that may be located on different continents. Travels to worldwide locations as projects require with full safety compliance, typically averaging 15% or less.

  • Ensures all appropriate requirements are identified, understood, and detailed for product development and transfer to manufacture.

Requirements:

  • Min of a Bachelor degree in a STEM field or mechanical/chemical engineering.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience.

  • Experience with Welding is highly desirable.
