Job Description

Role of the Analytics Business Partner is to pair with the Business Units and Divisional Functions to create analytical solutions that will add value to business and provide transparency and management support. It is grounded on proximity, business acumen with system & analytical

expertise & interpersonal maturity. Together with Report Owners & Analytics Business Partners link business requirements with the Analytics CoE, drive the agreed deliverables & involve required SMEs when needed.

Job Duties

  • First point of contact and responsible for the business validation in reporting and analytics projects (supporting global TSD).

  • Partners with TSD decision makers (headquarter and local organizations) to translate demand into sustainable solutions and thereby act as an interface between business and technical functions.

  • Align with TSD management on vision and scope of the analytics landscape and informally lead agile teams throughout the delivery process.

  • Proactively contributes solutions for business problems.

  • Ensures definitions are crystal clear to drive effective and efficient solution design.

  • Support and supervision of delivery process.

  • Prioritizes the backlog items to meet the business needs.

  • Challenges the report owner and contributes with overall perspective.

  • Product owner for key analytics projects and after the implementation, you lead the communication and design training journeys.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Analytics or related field.

  • Multiple year’s work experience in analytics is recommended.

  • Professional seniority (lateral leadership, communication skills) is required.


  • Expertise in Health Care business is beneficial.

  • Ability to build partnerships; Ability to guide, coach and mentor less experienced Business Partners

  • Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization. Experienced in steering stakeholder groups in a cross-functional environment.

  • Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments Strategic and Business acumen.

  • Drafting and extracting key financial indicators to make better business decisions; Professional experience with information design and the creation and usage of analytics products.

  • Applying systematic analytical knowledge to advance the organization’s goals. Passion for building excellent data products to support the global transformation of Olympus.

  • Combination of business judgement with strong interpersonal skills as well as a hands-on mentality and drive for results.
