AAA Northeast Media Planner in West Springfield, Massachusetts

Overview

Support the development of media strategies in various channels from market and channel assessments, campaign setup and execution to optimization. Will serve as the point of contact for business lines in assessing channel performance and managing shifts in strategy.

Responsibilities

Analyze and size markets for targeting, comparing vendor proposals and determining the most suitable media mix given the goals, budgets and assets available.

Help develop media goals, objectives, and strategies and evaluate publisher partner offerings and proposals to determine alignment, providing rationale for media plan options, media channel usage, and plan recommendations.

Mange the coordination of campaign launches and track budgets and performance while in flight. Manage campaign performance across campaigns and contribute to optimization recommendations through pacing and analytics reports, including insights, implications, and optimizations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help facilitate planning and buying process, including RFP consideration set and client and internal POVs, and keep abreast of latest updates and offerings.

Review campaign creative against channel best practices to ensure optimal performance and deliver optimization recommendations to team.

Maintain knowledge of media best practices, trends and industry developments and share learnings with cross functional teams.

Qualifications

Education/Licenses/ Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field required

Experience:

3-5 years of digital media experience

2+ years of experience as a media planner

Maintain a clear understanding of media KPIs and the ability to use a variety of analytics tools, databases and spreadsheets to manage advertising campaigns

Strong client and team leadership qualities

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and project management ability

Experience in managing digital campaigns; strong analytical skills and understanding of KPI's for digital media

Experience in DCM platform or equivalent for trafficking and tagging media

Experience in GTM tag creation and management

Understanding of use case and implementation of Double Verify and Grapeshot for digital media

Reasonable understanding and comfort level navigating media platforms, like FB, LinkedIn, Google, etc.

Experience in evaluating and buying media in digital and off-line channels

Ability to operate a computer/mobile device with relevant software applications.
