Mechanical Engineer

Degree:

• BS degree in Engineering or similar discipline

  Experience:

• Minimum of 2+ yrs. exp. in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic or food packaging industry preferred.

  "MUST HAVES":

• Previous exp. in semi-automated/ automated machine/ equipment design, including working with vendors/ contractors to bring design to successful operation

• Recent exp. using CAD (ideally Solidworks and PTC Creo (commonly called “Pro E”) as well as TurboCAD)

• Requires ability and experience in creating new designs

• Have experience in automating processes

• Exp. leading projects from start to finish

• Exp. working with vendors/ contractors to bring design to successful operation

  Duties/Responsibilities:

• Use CAD and other design software to perform task

• Responsible for process improvement through machine/ tooling work

• Supports new product development and product improvement programs from concept to completion

• Takes part in all phases of process development, from idea and sketches to the process introduction, or through a product/process improvement

• Responsible for establishing and following timelines, and then executing and making the plans

• Establishes documentation, work instructions, design records, specifications, and facility records

• Supervises installation and implementation of machines/ processes

  Duration: Direct Hire

  Hours: Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm
