The Rockport Group Digital Product Manager in West Newton, Massachusetts

This role requires someone who is comfortable making data driven decisions, a consumer champion, a strategist, a day-to-day project manager, and cross-functional partner.
As a member of our Corporate Strategy / Digital Growth team, you’ll sit at the center of The Rockport Group using your analytical, problem solving, and project management skills to find new ways to improve and grow our digital business. Our role focuses on fueling digital growth across the Reef, Rockport, Aravon, Dunham, and Cobb Hill brands, ensuring consumers have a positive experience throughout their journey so they have an opportunity to become part of our loyal consumer base. You will collaborate with Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Care, and Sales teams to create smarter, more automated and scalable digital strategies and capabilities.
Working directly for the Head of Digital Growth Transformation and closely with our cross-functional Ecommerce teams, 80% of your time will focus on driving our digital technology roadmap strategy and implementation. This includes analyzing the consumer experience and conversion funnel and providing recommendations for navigation improvements, identifying key on-site consumer friction points and recommending new features and solutions, and researching competitor digital experiences to benchmark and improve our capabilities.
You will then turn ideas into action, driving the development of business cases with cross-functional partners to prove out new features and capabilities. You’ll collaborate with ecommerce / merchandising teams to centrally gather feature and business requirements that unlock value. You’ll then partner closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful implementation of digital initiatives. Your IT counterpart will run the agile development process and manage outsourced development and QA resources. You’ll roll up your sleeves with the business to perform UAT testing. You will own leadership-facing reporting to document overall roadmap progress and escalate relevant implementation risks as well as track ROI and/or results for each implementation. With the Head of Digital Growth Transformation, you’ll ensure stakeholders are up to date on new and upcoming features as well as outcomes of previous launches to ensure functionality meets business and consumer needs.
20% of your time will be dedicated to “cracking” digital strategies and driving consumer insights with the Corporate Strategy team. Early focus area will be working with the ecommerce leads on A/B testing, as both a “doer” and coordinator across brands. The ideal candidate will be “hands-on”, excited by the prospect of digging through consumer data to improve the end-to-end consumer experience.
What You'll Do
Represent the voice of the consumer across all digital interactions with The Rockport Company brands
Research and provide recommendations to help transform Rockport’s digital capabilities and enhance the overall consumer experience
Research competitor CX and benchmark on and off-site experiences to inform Rockport’s future state capabilities and functionality
Partner with Ecommerce teams to drive digital capability roadmaps, business case development, and documentation of business requirements
Partner with IT / Development teams to track agile and digital capability implementation progress, including assessment of risks and key dependencies
Roll up your sleeves to test new / improved features alongside Ecommerce teams
Own digital roadmap leadership reporting and results tracking
Perform and coordinate relevant A/B testing
What You’ll Need
5+ years of experience

Experience with Ecommerce platforms and associated tools, ecosystems, APIs
Experience with desktop, mobile, and tablet UX and UI
Experience with product and/or project management
Experience with Microsoft Office, most readily Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with and/or openness to learning data visualization tools for results tracking (e.g., Tableau, DOMO)
