Rexa, Inc. QC Inspector/ Test Technician in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts
The primary purpose of this job is to conduct in-process and final inspection and functional testing of sub-assemblies and final product to verify that the product complies with all specifications, requirements, and quality standards prior to customer shipment. Responsibilities: * Team with Manufacturing Operations to ensure a quality product is delivered on time. * Complete all required inspections and tests as defined by the Manufacturing Production schedule. * Inspect and test complete mechanical/hydraulic systems utilizing standard procedure with the defined test set-up and equipment; includes basic and advanced testing of complex actuator configurations. * Review overall mechanical construction against product requirements (Assembly Drawings, Product Configuration Sheet, etc). * Conduct basic troubleshooting of the final system if the product does not meet specification * Completes advanced testing reports and inspection documentation. * Document nonconformances per the ISO 9001 QMS requirement in the Syteline Business System. * Identify and implement inspection process improvements that improve inspection efficiencies and effectiveness. * Support Incoming Inspection and final shipping inspection as needed. Qualifications: * High School Diploma required * Associate Degree in related field or certificate from technical school highly preferred. * ASQ Certified Inspector preferred * At least 5 years-experience inspecting product in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment; direct experience with hydraulic systems preferred * Basic understanding of test equipment such as digital multimeter (DMM) signal generators, data loggers & oscilloscope. * Moderate to high level electro-mechanical ability. * Ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams, spec sheets, and outline drawings * Ability to use hand tools. * Ability to use computer to review data, create labels & tags. * Good communication skills, verbal and written. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines. **This organization participates in E-Verify.**
