City of Watertown Motor Equipment Operation in Watertown, Massachusetts
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORK MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATORS The City of Watertown seeks qualified candidates for Motor Equipment Operation positions with the Department of Public Works. This position performs a variety of public works activities including road and sidewalk construction; water and sewer repairs; plowing; operation of heavy equipment and other related duties. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, the ability to work alternate shifts and overtime. A Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) Class B with airbrakes endorsement and a clean driving record are all required. Applicants will be required to complete a Criminal Record Release Form, post-offer physical examination and Department of Transportation CDL screening. Salary: \$1,838.81 bi-weekly, excellent benefit package, which includes vacation, personal and sick time, pension plan, flexible spending, deferred compensation as well as other benefits available to City employees.
