The Senior Manager for VELYS™ Hip Digital is responsible for the hip navigation software portfolio. Responsibility also includes leading the global strategy for digital (hips), commercialization of the digital portfolio, driving execution and expansion of the launched technologies, and development of the long-term digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for VELYS™ Hip Navigation (VHN) global commercialization and expansion

  • Acquisition and/or development of future technology upgrades to VHN software

  • Long term digital/robotic hip strategy and business development activities

  • Routine surgeon communication: calls, customer visits & communication with surgeon KOLs

  • Field sales/management interaction, sales leadership interaction to improve execution

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

    Required:

  • 8 years business experience

  • Global strategy development, go-to-market model development, and business model development for products in the digital and enabling technology space

  • An understanding of the orthopaedic specialty and the relevant clinical and non-clinical stakeholders

  • An understanding and appreciation of global markets, diverse cultures, and the healthcare landscape within global markets

  • Domestic and International travel up to 50%

    Preferred:

  • 10 years of medical device commercial experience

  • Orthopaedic, robotic and/or digital experience

  • Ability to synthesize the financial impact of strategic decisions to improve GP and profit is important

  • Capital sales, navigation, and hip arthroplasty experience
