Department/Position Overview:

We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to be a part of the multi-disciplinary and multi-modality Global Drug Product Development & Manufacturing group. The candidate will primarily support Biopharmaceutical Drug Product development projects for AAV Gene Therapy. In addition, the incumbent will have the opportunity to work on different facets of drug delivery and product development for Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) based programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of formulation, process development and stability studies for gene therapy programs

• Work with internal and external partners to address formulation, stability and compatibility aspects using established assays

• Maintain a strong work ethic and good documentation practices

• Analyze, compile and present results to internal and cross functional teams comprised of members from multiple groups and stakeholders.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or M.Sc. university program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related discipline

• Must have 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hrs./week for the full duration of the internship/Co-op

• Must have permanent US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in chromatographic and biophysical techniques

• The ability to collaborate effectively with peers across a spectrum of disciplines is required.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and learn new skills and possess flexibility and adaptability that is needed in a fast-paced team environment

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
