Job Description Summary:
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the go-to-market activities of the Power Business Unit. The role will rest on strong interlocks and relationships with Marketing and Sales, outside the business unit, and with Product Management and Engineering within it. Working closely with the VP of Go-to-Market Strategy, this manager will bring together a strong understanding of the market with a strategic approach to growth, customer engagement, partnerships and M&A activities.
Working internally, this individual will engage across the business to understand and assess our ability to support customers in lower product tiers, drive forward alliances, and build out new GTM motions. They will realistically assess our capabilities and capacity as well as make recommendations on how best to proceed on these product and partnership areas.
Armed with this internal understanding, this individual will be responsible for engaging externally with customers and partners, extending the Rocket approach to honest and empathetic engagement to these critical constituents. They will both gather information and provide updates to these groups, driving agreements and forward motion but also ensuring transparency.
Finally, with a growing understanding of the Power Business Unit products, market opportunities, and growth objectives, this individual will help assess new markets, acquisition targets and partnerships in order to drive both organic and inorganic strategy.

Support the end-to-end Engineering-to-Sales process that defined GTM, including broader product and solution GTM strategies, marketing interlock, sales engagement and product management alignment.
Explore the market for our products and relevant adjacencies to help inform strategic decision making both short and long-term.
Help drive the triage and strategy of Tier 4/5 products and their customer base, assessing customer usage, evaluating product and support options, and proposing solutions
Engage our early strategic partnerships, seeking opportunities to join forces to drive market adoption of our solution.
Support the M&A strategy, evaluation and diligence processes of the Power BU.
Support the Rocket Power strategic planning process with market analysis, strategic framing and customer insights.
