How you will make an impact:
This is a critical data governance role accountable for adoption of global data policies, standards and processes. This high visibility position provides effective leadership in communication, compliance and resolution. As part of the newly created Data Governance Office, data will be standardized and curated to provide elevated insights.
What you will do:
Establish a data governance adoption and compliance vision, strategy and roadmap
Build a collaborative auditing and compliance mechanism (identification, prevention, monitoring, resolution and advisory) that unlock business value with alignment and adoption
Become an alignment and compliance GO TO person who deeply understands and collaborates with all levels of business leaders and users
Explore and recommend scalable, automated and easy to use auditing platforms and tools that drive higher compliance and adoption
Create and own compliance rules, metrics and scorecards that assist business areas to improve continuously
Facilitate and lead the ongoing review, education and training on compliance methodology across the groups and divisions
How you will get here:
Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree or equivalent related years of experience. Ideal subject areas include business, finance, Computer Science, MIS, engineering and data science.
5+ years of demonstrated experience of crafting and implementing enterprise wide IT or data governance auditing and compliance programs
5+ years of people or project management experience in industry (healthcare, financial, life science, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing)
Broad exposure to best practices in end to end business processes - order to cash, procure to pay, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Outstanding domain knowledge of IT or data governance auditing and compliance structure, controls and processes
Proven track program and project management expertise including prioritization and problem solving
Superb communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to translate compliance lexicon into business benefits language and build consensus among various partners
Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and sophisticated situations
A passion and educated bias towards positive and useful compliance
