We’re looking for a QA lead to manage software development and deployments. If you are a natural at finding and implementing quality process improvements with experience in user interface (UI), web services, application programming interface (API), and automation, we’d love to meet you!
As a QA lead, you will work closely with the integrated project team, including external vendors, overseeing quality control processes, reviewing, and managing test plans and strategies, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and communicating quality matrices to stakeholders. Our workplace environment is fast paced, so the ability to stay on top of multiple projects is essential.
Developing, implementing, and managing processes to ensure product quality for production release
Identifying and establishing appropriate quality standards and matrices for vendor integration projects
Coordinating UAT, guiding the team to develop and publish QA- and UAT-related artifacts
Leading and documenting the test plan and schedule during the sprint planning
Building test cases, running functional and regression tests, and documenting results for each sprint
Developing and maintaining UI test automation using behavior-driven development (BDD) framework
Partnering closely with the product owner, development lead, and business analysts to understand requirements and appropriate use cases
Supplementing existing automated test suites with appropriate regression tests
Running daily regression testing suites and analyzing results, reporting defects to project teams as they are identified
Collecting and effectively communicating sprint testing metrics
Leading and mentoring junior team members
Core Strengths and Skills
Proven QA experience supporting functional, integration, automation, and user acceptance testing
Established understanding of project, technical, and team leadership in an Agile project team environment
Ability to create and maintain test plans and test cases
Development experience in C# and .NET environments
Working experience with Visual Studio
Knowledge of API testing
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Well organized and self-motivated
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Knowledge of source control and bug-tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence)
Proficient with SQL and writing SQL queries
Leadership experience running UATs and working with third-party vendors
Familiarity with SaaS is a plus
Financial services experience is important
