We’re looking for a program manager to join our ranks! If you have a passion for finding elegant and efficient solutions to complex strategic and operational challenges, this is the right job for you. In this role, you’ll oversee all external communications programs and facilitate everything from brainstorming the vision to final approval and deployment.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious and experienced in the world of modern digital marketing methodologies and innovative marketing strategies. You’ll need to understand the nuances of interdependency and how to take the right micro-level steps to reach macro-level goals. This role will report to the director of content strategy.
Establishing macro-level program management solutions for Commonwealth’s owned digital platform program initiatives
Staying up to date on stakeholder communications, negotiations, and problem-solving relevant to key programs across departments
Overseeing daily program management throughout the program life cycle
Coordinating activities across the external communications vertical to support alignment with key needs
Establishing plans to achieve successful collaborations with other marketing verticals
Managing program risks and blockers, and initiating corrective measures
Keeping current on active and future projects, with a focus on prioritizing and forecasting bandwidth
Generating insights and data analysis reports to provide our team with improvement suggestions
Acting as a resource for program and project managers aligned to strategic campaigns
Supporting editing and updating needs for our owned digital platforms
Organizing stakeholder involvement for key initiatives
Strategic thinker who can translate big-picture ideas into effective initiatives
Ability to effectively navigate obstacles and move projects across the finish line
Adept at approaching changes with flexibility and a positive outlook
Skilled at producing creative solutions for complicated problems
Experienced in presenting and negotiating effectively
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Effective team player with a collaborative attitude
Additional Skills and Knowledge
5+ years of experience in managing macro-strategic initiatives
Proven program manager
