We’re looking for a marketing project manager to manage the process and approvals for assets and deliverables developed by our Marketing External Communications team. Working directly with the program manager, directors, strategists, editors, and creatives in External Communications, the project manager will lead the production of materials for websites, publications, social media, and press releases. The ideal candidate will have strong marketing communications experience, problem-solving expertise, and organizational and interpersonal skills to structure project workflows and collaborate with other team members to deliver strategic, high-quality assets.
Evaluating incoming briefs and preparing projects for kickoff
Translating creative briefs into project plans and workflow templates, ensuring goals are met while balancing team workloads
Laying out project plans in Workfront to define work phases, timing, and team structure
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that work is aligned and consistent with Marketing initiatives
Understanding project goals to help individual team members prioritize their workload
Using insights and post-mortem lessons learned to implement process improvements
Coaching teams throughout a project, and acting as liaison between program managers, requestors, stakeholders, and the creative team
Providing staff with learning experiences for growth and team optimization
Core Strengths and Skills
Proven success managing projects and working with various levels of management
Clear, confident communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Demonstrated organization and multitasking abilities
Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
Skilled at performing under pressure and delivering on tight deadlines
Able to take innovative approaches to problem solving
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and creative workflow management in a marketing or an agency environment is required
Previous experience using Workfront a plus
