Job Description:
The Market Information Manager is responsible for development and management of integrated targeted customer / client lists supporting Marketing and various lines of business. This position provides end-to-end list creation and support across campaign planning, execution, and delivery via various marketing channels. This individual contributor role has a large emphasis on relationship management and senior stakeholder communications in addition to providing technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Own all analytical deliverables for assigned programs, including: opportunity sizing, customer segmentation / targeting, list extraction, and delivery
Design and document campaign targeting to meet business needs
Execute against business requirements, ensuring deliverables are completed within established timelines
Develop and interpret business requirements that are used to create and execute SAS code toqualify customersfor incentive payment
Lead project management of incentive qualification processes; including writing technical Business Requirements Documents, data exploration, conducting work team meetings, etc.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional work teams
Knowledge of SAS & SQL programming languages that conduct data exploration, validation, research, population sizing and auditing
Ensure data use and file outputs follow information security policies and procedures and Bank of America compliance and privacy standards
Lead and participate in the campaign audit process, research and address any data anomalies, data gaps or issues and then be able to prepare and communicate solutions to stakeholders
Support continuous process improvement
Required Skills:
3+ years technical experience with solid working knowledge of SAS and SQL
Excellent communication skills and marketing business knowledge are required
Significant experience with large relational databases and complex data sources (Teradata; DB2)
Excellent statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into meaningful insight
High degree of autonomy with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders
BA/BS required
Desired Skills
5+ years of experience in direct marketing using data to drive specific targeting and marketing recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience developing and facilitating presentations
Proven experience developing and implementing marketing customer database systems
Understanding of CRM and supporting tools and their capabilities for campaign management
Knowledge of financial services marketing principles and methods
