The Marketing Technology Manager oversees the implementation, optimization, and management of marketing technology solutions to support the organization's marketing objectives. This role is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and integrating marketing technology platforms, as well as maximizing effectiveness to drive marketing performance and ROI. Includes strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and user training, and hands-on management of digital and marketing technology initiatives. Reports to the Executive Director Marketing Operations and Technology, and leads teams in a matrix organization.
Job Duties
•Strategic Digital Product Management: Lead the development and execution of digital product strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance customer experience and drive demand generation and growth. This will include the following platforms at a minimum: Adobe Edge CMS, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Assets, Google Analytics, and Pardot (migration to SalesForce Marketing Cloud). Support integrations/data exchange with SFDC CRM to support demand gen activities and reporting.
•MarTech Integration and Optimization: Oversee the integration and optimization of marketing technology solutions, including website, marketing automation, and analytics platforms to support and build out optimized digital marketing techniques. This work will be closely coordinated with IT team members and in collaboration with other groups. Ensure seamless, unambiguous data flow and interoperability.
• System Configuration: Work with IT to customize and configure technology platforms to meet the specific needs and requirements of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
•Data Management and Governance: Oversee data management practices within systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Implement data governance policies and procedures.
•Lead Generation and Personalization: Manage the business requirements of the build out of a best-in-class MarTech stack that supports data-driven marketing, personalization efforts, and demand generation. This includes serving as the product owner of the Adobe Stack and collaborating with other team members/product owners on the SalesForce.com Stack and other technology owners to manage integrations and linkages between platforms.
•Training and Support: Provide training and support to marketing teams on the use of marketing technology platforms and tools. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance on best practices.
•Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and vendor selection.
•Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Proactively recommend and implement new technologies and solutions to enhance marketing capabilities and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
•10+ years of proven experience leading marketing technology management, preferably in a similar role or capacity.
•Strong technical proficiency with marketing technology platforms and tools, such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot Marketo, Eloqua), CMS (e.g., Adobe AEM Edge), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMRush).
•Experience with marketing attribution modeling, funnel management and advanced analytics techniques
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
•Ability to drive digital innovation and stay ahead of industry trends.
•Strong technical and analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
•Understanding of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is required.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
