In preparation for its next ambitious campaign, the Division of Institutional Advancement (IA) seeks to strengthen the bonds with the university?s many constituencies. By working together, we will secure the financial resources necessary to continue the legacy of excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship at Brandeis. Located nine-miles west of downtown Boston, a global hub for higher education and innovation, Brandeis University is accessible via major highways (I-90 and I-95) and the MBTA Brandeis/Roberts commuter rail stop. Position Summary The Integrated Marketing and Content Strategy Manager is responsible for providing strategic thinking, leadership, communications management and editorial content for the team as it articulates Brandeis' priorities in ways that reflect the culture, values, and achievements of the University community and celebrates the generosity and engagement of Brandeis alumni and friends. The Manger works closely with the Advancement Communications team to create and execute marketing communications plans that incorporate key messages, consistent editorial tone and content, and appropriate branding and graphic design. He/she will ensure that communications strategies, programs, and tactics are developed to drive increased engagement and philanthropy across Brandeis alumni, parents and friends; participate in the creation, development, and measurement of key metrics to measure the impact and performance of the department; help the AVP shift the department towards a culture of delivering two-way, highly relevant and interactive communications with key audience segments; contribute to the production process including writing for print and digital content; and assist the AVP in crisis communications support and activities as requested.
