Thermo Fisher Scientific Instrument Sales Representative in Waltham, Massachusetts


Exceed annual sales plan for product responsibilities.

Provide product expertise with regard to market, applications and competition.

Grow and diversify customer base.

Conduct effective customer presentations/seminars.

Partner with other members of the organization to deliver on the sales plan.

Accelerate growth for new products and emerging applications.

Influence product groups, business planning, sales training content and sales tools.


Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or related field of study plus 1 year of life sciences sales experience or related experience.

Must have experience or knowledge of:

Microsoft office;

Sanger Sequencing;

Fragment analysis;

Instrument sales skills; and

Business analyst/acumen.


Roving/Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Will work at various unknown client sites in Massachusetts for up to 25% of the time. Up to 25% travel in Massachusetts.
