Aerotek Electrical Construction Project Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts

Description:

The company is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will work closely with clients and vendors to maintain existing and prospective partnerships and they are looking for a progressive thinking career orientated professional.

This person will be responsible for managing multiple project at various stages from pre-construction to close out, reviewing proposals and project requirements, securing required permits/utility services, writing change orders and RFIs, interpreting electrical plans and specifications, and more.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial/electrical Project Management experience

• Experience attending site meetings and supporting and coaching field staff

• Experience managing schedule ‘look-aheads’ on a daily basis

• Ability to accurately and productively review projects to create close out packages that dissect Amp’s performance on each project

Preferred but not required:

• Procore proficiency

• Project management certs (PMP)

• OSHA 30

Performance Expectations:

Project Managers are expected to be able to hit the ground running and have experience managing similar projects. They are open to training on how the company does things, but they should have an overall idea.

Work Environment:

Working from home or from their office in Waltham, MA. They will be required to go on occasional site visits but it won't be a daily thing. However, candidates MUST be commutable to Waltham.

**This person must have a flexible schedule and be able to help when an emergency arises or work longer hours on some days when there are deadlines, etc.

Pay Rate: $55- $67 Hourly
