The Director, Service & Operations will drive service solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that enable the region to achieve their Financial (growth, profit and margin) targets whilst maximising customer service performance. They will also own and manage the regional playbook and work to ensure that the supply chain organization aligns with Clarks business strategy.

If you have strong project management experience within a supply chain organization and are a hands on strategic thinker, this would be a great role for you!


  • Develop and deliver a regional service improvement plan to support delivery of Region and Brand operating plan, priorities and KPIs

  • Ensure consistency in communication and prioritisation of service requirements to support delivery of the region operating plan, priorities and KPIs

  • Lead service initiatives on behalf of the region across the Supply Chain team to plan, resource and deliver the service improvements required

  • Identify and drive further opportunities to improve service, reduce cost and complexity across the supply chain

  • Partner across the Regional Service specialists to provide ‘one best way’ in the development of regional playbooks

  • Create the conditions that deliver a highly competent, energetic, engaged and motivated workforce who are committed and aligned to delivery outcomes


  • Strong experience of project management and using tools and delivering continuous improvement

  • Good experience of delivering change across supply chain teams

  • Good knowledge of supply chain and processes and procedures

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Advanced negotiation and influencing skills, ability to influence and lead teams without direct responsibility

  • Advanced Decision-making skills

  • Good financial analysis and management skills including stock and budget control
