Commonwealth Financial Network Compliance Analyst in Waltham, Massachusetts

We’re looking for a compliance analyst to join our ranks. In this role, you’ll provide ongoing technology application testing for our Compliance Solutions team, which serves as a unit within our larger Compliance department. The right candidate will have broad, demonstrated experience in financial services, as well as a passion for gaining knowledge of technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using technical and compliance knowledge to test applications, ensure functionality, and allow for continuous adherence to regulatory and firm standards

  • Maintaining documentation to support institutional knowledge of technology applications and operations within our regulatory landscape

  • Documenting test plans, results, and remediation efforts

  • Investigating and tracking reports of technology issues from business owners, and prioritizing reported issues based on regulatory impact and risk exposure

  • Advocating for the essential technology enhancements needed to ensure compliance and efficiency

  • Communicating with vendor product representatives, internal stakeholders, and subject-matter experts throughout the testing and issue resolution processes, and collaboratively seeking solutions and identifying enhancements

Additional Skills and Responsibilities:

  • 2-3 years of compliance experience
