TechStart (website: https://tech-start.com/) was formed to address the supply/demand crisis many growing companies face when searching for qualified software developers and engineers in the U.S. TechStart is an on-demand talent firm for software developers. We offer “Boutique Outsourcing”, presenting several pre-qualified software developer candidates, primarily from Lima, Peru, to employers in the US who are searching for a highly-skilled development resource. These developers, fluent in English, are set up to work remotely in our Lima offices which enjoy a U.S. friendly time-zone. In addition, candidates will come to the U.S. to work alongside established tech teams as needed. TechStart’s owners are affiliated with Buyers Edge Platform however TechStart is an independent entity.

We are seeking to hire a part-time (10-20 hours) Business Development Representative for $25/hour with the following commission plan: $1,200 per placement (spread over 12 months). For networking purposes, you will ideally be based in NY, CA or MA. This position is 100% Remote and does not need to be your full-time job.

  • Sell software developer talent services over the phone, through email and in person at start-up networking events and conferences.

  • Will be provided some leads to get started but must source leads in the start-up sector.

  • Work with existing clients (client management skills required)

  • Work with Founder to develop a pitch script

  • Obtain a funnel through various prospecting methods.

  • Effectively cultivate relationships that translate into new accounts

  • Be disciplined in a remote work environment

  • Be an outstanding person with high values and work ethic

  • This position is a hunting position.

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a sales/prospecting role

  • Strong verbal communication and computer system navigation skills are required

  • Dependability a MUST

  • Associates or College Degree or equivalent is required

  • Spanish speaking is a plus
