Job Description The experienced Assembler III will perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanical assemblies using production assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. This team member determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing and assembling units. Incumbents will operate automatic or semi-automatic machines to perform assembly operations. Job Duties * Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment. * Possess substantial understanding of company policies and procedures. * Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedules while producing high quality products to standards. * Work on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues or in marking recommendation. * Act as a champion of the company?s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs. * Maintain time and attendance are in accordance with company policies procedures and work area schedule. * Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of finished product to support customer service levels. * Advise management of adverse manufacturing and/ or equipment conditions and issues that are affecting production and /or safety. * Prepare product components and fixtures for assembly. * Assemble cable assemblies (hand soldering). Assemble and test assigned product on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines. * Identify overdue or potentially overdue work orders and alert managers. * Constantly review current manufacturing Operation Evaluation of performance will be based on ability to: Produce quality products in accordance with standards. Meet established standard times for standard times for standard operations. Follow all applicable manufacturing procedures and documentation. Follow work order activities established via manufacturing reports. * Accurately record labor time to all work order operations into the MRP system. * Clean and maintain equipment (including tools and fixtures). * Work with team members with mutual respect and understanding. Job Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Degree or Equivalent. * 2-4 years of related experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment. * Have good manual dexterity. * Computer skills and literacy a plus. * Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Enjoy contributing to a strives to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
